I’ve written before about the need to feed the designer in you. One way of feeding my inner designer is to set myself tasks. This year I want to rekindle my love of photography. A long time ago I started out studying photography and did it as one of my degrees. I loved it and it was such a part of my life. I also was insane about video, I even took a whole year of my life and recorded it. I was never seen without a camera of some form for many years.

Well, it’s been the first week of the photo a day project Simon and me have got going on for this year. The good news is that well we made 7 days, not that it’s out of their insane good news but ah well. So far all is going well and the results are erm interesting. I have also joined up with Project 365 and Simon is going to once the flickr pro account occurs and yeah he actually uses his computer not just for a ipod feeder. Least now he has to use it once a day to give me his photo for the day. For those of you who happen to want to know what my husband looks like you can now see on - yes, I do give up when it comes to that image and did comment that I could hear the special bus outside. Only another 51 weeks to go then…

Well, it went live today over at Daily Lister. No design done my end due to time and basically the fact Hemmingway worked about how I wanted to design - no re-inventing the wheel then. It’s going to take time to build up being a daily photo blog and all, however it’s interesting as with this theme we are able to show the last 2 posts so you will always see mine (funnily enough karmatosed) or Simon’s (flothru) posts for that day together on the top. Currently it’s not showing up the author of the post but I will tweak that to show who took what.

I’ve been asked a few times and have finally stayed awake long enough and not been chewed long enough, to load the photographs of Dillon so far. Expect much content coming as with all new puppies and a photography mad owner.

I had removed my direct linking to my flickr accounts, but I have put it back in today. WIth all the mad insane moving to freelance full time hilarity I had little time for photos for a while, but fear not the cybershot is back and with me at all times again. There, you feel better now don’t you….

In true Big Brother style there is an interesting project at The Six Minute Project. It is open for particpants to take a picture every six minutes for a snapshot of a day in their life. Now where is my camera?
