Stick it in your USB

Whilst joining in with the Christmas eve insanity shopping, today I noticed a number of odd USB attachments. The first was a USB lava lamp – although this intitially brought out the ooo wow girlie in me that resulted in a disappointing purchase of the Urbz. I am beginning to wander what people really are thinking regarding these odd USB devices. I mean, with all we have sitting on our desk do they really think our ultimate glory would be to own a USB Christmas tree that sings jingle bells?

Price slashing gone mad

Either I’ve just woken up in my own fantasy world, or the price of technology is going down dramatically in the UK. I have been astounded today by many products I have seen and their dramatic reductions in price. As of today I am now able to buy everything I wanted on amazon at quite frankly bizarre low prices. I have been after the list for a long time and today managed to bring it all in under my savings which I had concluded would mean that I would be a few months more before I had delivery.

New fruit

The new blackberry has come onto the scene and it is looking rather nice. Wired feature it on their website.

Looks good to me. The new fruit will support the Cingular EDGE network which basically allows quicker roll out of a UMTS network.

Blackberries are not the only fruit

Today bbc has an interesting twist in the RIM patent saga. The case which could see the firm RIM not able to sell their darling the blackberry in the US. For me, a firm blackberry lover – this is news that concerns me. However, it might only mean the problem in the US – whether sales go on still in europe once the biggest market is blocked is to be seen.
