Pink diary

The final design is now done bar the usual tweaking and pixel poking for the next flavour for Diary of a website. It has morphed quite a bit along the way from my usual plan but still is around the strawberry flavour. Keep an eye out as it will be going live on the 1st of October to tie in with the Pink for October. I encourage everyone else to get out their pink pixels for this worthy cause. If nothing else it might result in a web that we all need shades for one month to see. I think it’s great also that this month links with the start of the doom and gloom that is the UK autumn and then winter. Nothing like a bit of pink to bring that cheer back.

Woofbarkwag : designed, updated and shouted about a little

Today has been a rather major day at woofbarkwag.com with a new design being slapped on and 2 additions being dogtails the forum and dogtails the flickr group. It’s been one hectic day of sorting out but I am moderately happy with the result (well at least for today).

Woofbarkwag launched

Today I finally got around to launching woofbarkwag. Currently it doesn’t have any real design and this oddly feels right for this blog. I had gotten to the point where I always get with my worst client (that being me) where I was not happy with anything. So, to actually launch the blog before Dillion was a year old I decided to do away with actually designing it for now and strip to the bare minimum – hence the version that has gone live. It is also nice as this allows me time to ponder the design a bit and get it right rather than the usual thing that happens with my own designs and poking and prodding it within a week of going live.

Woofbarkwag : the pre-launch nailing

I am going to post the designs up soon as this one is nearly ready to let out into the wild. I thought here that I would just post a bit about the development. One thing that came from it was the concept of Dog Tails. Every dog owner has a story to tell, it’s the way of it with dogs. Usually dog owners tell it to anyone that will listen – about what cute thing their dog did, what naughty thing their dog did. What about if there was a place where you could tell these tales? That is what dog tails has become.

Woofbarkwag

The Logical Binary team is about to gain a new fluffy employee with the introduction of a new puppy to our family. I have already seemed to gain a nice reputation for being the mad dog woman of web design and with the introduction of the new puppy I plan to make this official by starting woofbarkwag. Woofbarkwag is going to be a blog focusing on the life of a puppy, dog training, living, all things paw, tail and barking related.
