Haven’t got time to wait around and read a full post? No problem, get your instant espresso Diary of a website delivered freshly to your eyes. Sometimes you just need a quick shot.

Sometimes all it takes is putting a name to a tune

Have you ever had a tune on your hard drive for ages and not known what it was or where it came from? Well, I have (actually I have far too many of them) and today thanks to Ben (via Simon’s new music delivery from a visit to Ben’s) I gained the insight into at least one of my ‘what the bleep is that it’s good’ tracks. I am going to bed much happier in the knowledge it’s ‘The White Hare’ by Seth Lakeman and wow ‘Freedom Fields’ is one heck of an album.

Expression Engine redesigned

Expression Engine and more specifically EllisLab has redesigned. This is a well thought out redesign which keep consistency but allows the 4 sites in the network to have their own identity. I really like the way it’s the form and style that is kept but really the colours and smaller parts that changes to create this consistency. Great job and really shows how flexible Expression Engine really is. It’s not something I’ve played much with but seeing this is certainly tempting. I’m thinking of ways to show the many sides of my own business this year and this is a great example to show how well you can do it.

Freaky geeky

I’m tired of testing out shitty betas of stuff I don’t need. I’m done with being a freaky geek.
