‘Tis the season for not much news online but here is my starred this week offering, brought to you with a dollop of ‘Merry Christmas’ and a santa gift from Microsoft.
- Tom over at 37 signals asks ‘Where did the intranets go?
- Adaptive Path invite you to ‘Watch us create better UX solutions faster’. This is basically a more efficient method of wire framing and very interesting video and templates you can also use to streamline your wire frame and mocking up process
- 43 folders has a post entitled ‘Dick on Kipple’. Kipple is basically the useless objects in your life from spam to rubbish. This post looks at labeling this ‘flotsam in your digital life’ and dealing with it as a whole.
- Snook looks at ‘IE8 Expectations’. If you weren’t aware, IE8 was reported to have passed the Acid2 test this week. This is like the ‘bar’ for CSS and having a version of IE that passes it simply blows my mind away. Snook in this article explores some of the expectations around this new version.
- Molly also looks at the joyous passing of IE8’s test. There is a good quote in her post from the IE blog. Molly has an earlier post where she interviews Bill Gates that is also worth checking out.
