Webspiration of the week

Before I do the webspiration for this week I’d like to announce I’ve started a more personal blog in the form of a tumblr, it’s going to be integrated into this blog more at some point but for now you can visit through clicking karmatosed. I am going to be reworking some of the categories over here and this seems a really good way to take what was being done in espresso but keep this blog for main posts. I love the format of tumblr and will be writing more about it in the next few weeks.

Time for a bit of webspiration then. This week I haven’t had half as much time as I’d have liked to potter about the web and collect things. What with the launch of thoof and being in hospital for a minor operation (nothing serious just a few stitches and taking it easy now) – it’s been one hectic week.

Website of the week

Apparelidea

Apparelidea isn’t on the surface one of the most ‘pretty’ sites I’ve come across in a while but that is one of the things I like. It’s not using the fake gloss that litters the web lately. I also love the way the news is presented and the use of the fluid layout. So many sites don’t use a true fluid layout and that seems a shame to me often.

Logo of the week

FotoGrow

FotoGrow is an upcoming project from ClimaxDesigns and I really liked the simple organic nature of the logo and lettering. It’s simple but gives a hint to what the application is – once it’s launched it will probably make even more sense.

That was webspiration for this week. If you’ve found something this week and think it’s worthwhile then just link to it in the comments – it’s always great to find webspiration.
