Wow it’s been way too long since I did some webspiration, but it’s now coming back. I’ve been lucky enough to get a beta invite to skitch thanks to Lisa and it’s proving a great method of webspiration uploading. As a result I’m going to do a weekly summary post of webspiration of the week. To recap, webspiration is basically anything from a logo to a website and all the web elements inbetween. It could be a great navigation bar, a lovely form … you get the idea. So, there we have it webspiration is back and there are more plans for it with the next version of diary of a website where I really want to work to build up an archive of webspiration and colourspiration. There is still the flickr group you can join and colourspiration is going to also be making a comeback soon once webspiration is brought back into line.
Website of the week : Vkleyah
Vkleyah isn’t on the surface the lightest to run (in-fact I’ve had a few errors running it sometimes), but the thing I love is the use of the fluid format. I’ve been experimenting a lot recently with fluid layouts and this really brings it to another level for me.
Logo of the week: Warmhearts
Warmhearts Pollative Caregivers logo is one of those ‘simple but effective’ designs. It really grab me as being a great effective logo on a branding level along with being really elegant.
