Today the project I’ve been working on as designer for the past few months has launched. So what is thoof? I’ll let this post from Ian Clarke the founder explain it:
Wow it’s been way too long since I did some webspiration, but it’s now coming back. I’ve been lucky enough to get a beta invite to skitch thanks to Lisa and it’s proving a great method of webspiration uploading. As a result I’m going to do a weekly summary post of webspiration of the week. To recap, webspiration is basically anything from a logo to a website and all the web elements inbetween. It could be a great navigation bar, a lovely form … you get the idea. So, there we have it webspiration is back and there are more plans for it with the next version of diary of a website where I really want to work to build up an archive of webspiration and colourspiration. There is still the flickr group you can join and colourspiration is going to also be making a comeback soon once webspiration is brought back into line.
I come late to the party on this one, but a short while ago Cas opened up to those who’d like to join in the 5 questions thing. I accepted the offer and here are my answers.
I like everyone else clicked on the download Safari 3 beta with enthusiasm - hey who isn’t going to be happy about a new browser? Ok, yes I may be a bit sad but there we go… My bouncing was quickly turned into head scratching as the installer claimed my system didn’t meet the requirements. Much puzzlement ensued but as it was late at night I gave in figuring the good ‘ole powerbook was having an off day. This morning I tried again with a few more brain cells and have discovered 2 things that could be preventing you from installing the beta.
Here was me having a not so bad Monday for once and then bamn! I see the new London 2012 Olympic logo. I would say I’m left speechless but it’s more muttering and bashing my head against my keyboard. For those of you lucky enough to not see the dog’s dinner (actually I’ve seen better designed dog’s dinners) here is it in all it’s ugly for you.
