Well, it went live today over at Daily Lister. No design done my end due to time and basically the fact Hemmingway worked about how I wanted to design – no re-inventing the wheel then. It’s going to take time to build up being a daily photo blog and all, however it’s interesting as with this theme we are able to show the last 2 posts so you will always see mine (funnily enough karmatosed) or Simon’s (flothru) posts for that day together on the top. Currently it’s not showing up the author of the post but I will tweak that to show who took what.
One interesting thing, with all the expensive cameras about all the images on both these will be taken using for me, the sony cybershot I have and for Simon a cheap digital ebay jobby. Not the best no, but we are working with what we have. Yes, we’d love to get better cameras but that will come. I actually find the cybershot for me works great as it’s portable enough for a daily photo exercise. They are only being shown in small images on the blog with links to the flickr page they are also on for other sizes. This way you get the 2 side by side on the page. I am sure more tweaks will happen but the ball has started on this one so we shall see.
And yes, we will be changing the url to dailylister.com once I buy it. For now, the dailykarmatosed will do as that was the idea before Simon came on board also.
