Diary of a website has come over all chocolatey for this season’s flavour. Welcome to chocolate raspberry (and yes you can get coffee flavoured by chocolate and raspberry). I feel it’s rather autumnal and I am definitely being inspired by that this season. One interesting thing I am noting is the way each season’s flavour really is inspired by the weather and environment around me. I find this interesting from a designer perspective and see it in the format and the colours.
Last night the frustration of how out of date the UK web reporting is, became drummed into my eyeballs with the BBC News 24 Click program content - only click the link if you like muttering. Here are listed some of the gloriously up the minute contents.
As if coffee wasn’t art in itself over at flickr there is a Coffee art group. I remember when I worked in a coffee bar and had to do leafs with great fondness - yes, I did get rather obsessive about it being right like a typical designer.
I have just finished up the final mock up of the new flavour for Diary of a website and this time it’s choclate strawberry. In response to the increasingly shivery UK winter approaching nights. I am aiming for this to be done early next week assuming I don’t disappear under a big pile of work again. So, here is a sneak preview for you all. Grab yourself a mug and I hope you enjoy.
As the UK autumn has now a firm hold over the country and winter is tapping at the door threatening icy mornings, my mind is turning to soup. I always associate soups with this time of the year - I often eat them anytime of the year but really my consumption is focused on the colder months. I’m relatively simple in my soupy requirements and generally have it with bread as a bit of a traditionalist souper at heart. The usual favourite of mine is the tomato and basil combination. It’s a great mixture for a soup and often never fails to deliver soupy goodness.
Over at business logs, there is a call to mashup the Toyota logo in response to their recent ripping of the 9rules logo for their women’s project - now that is a rip nobody can dispute…. Join in the mashing and grab yourself an amazon voucher.
