Let the 80s die already
I admit to being old enough to remember the 80s the first time around. It started with me being 5 and ended with me being 15 so the 80s did hang over my entire childhood. The first time around things like rah-rah skirts, leopard print and leggings seemed harmless enough. I remember my cooler (she seemed so cool to me) cousin being into Adam and the ants and playing me records when we’d go around to visit. I even recall listening to Blonde and other such bands at hers as she was approaching her 20s by the end of the 80s so spanned that nostalgic period of music. I have tried to forget her brief foray into Wham and Duran Duran.
Pink diary
The final design is now done bar the usual tweaking and pixel poking for the next flavour for Diary of a website. It has morphed quite a bit along the way from my usual plan but still is around the strawberry flavour. Keep an eye out as it will be going live on the 1st of October to tie in with the Pink for October. I encourage everyone else to get out their pink pixels for this worthy cause. If nothing else it might result in a web that we all need shades for one month to see. I think it’s great also that this month links with the start of the doom and gloom that is the UK autumn and then winter. Nothing like a bit of pink to bring that cheer back.
When you are bored torture Elmo
The ultimate solution to any boredom situation is now confirmed as torturing poor Elmo.
