There is a new club in town (well 9rules town) and I am announcing it here. Blog club has a few simple rules and basically involves 9rules members posting about other communities. Every two weeks a different community will be picked and then during the second week from the Sunday to the Wednesday the blog club participants will write a post about blog club. Anyone who participates will get a mention here on Friday.

Cows with guns
Want to see what the cows are planning all along? Yes, cows with guns.
Feeding the inner designer
In Psychology there is the talk of the inner child. i like to think of an inner designer where it needs to be fed otherwise you get designer temper tantrums where pixels are thrown, fonts beaten up and designs that belong in the recycle bin created. My own inner designer is one that needs to get input on and offline to create the best work. Designer block and burn out is an all too common theme amongst web designers. I think there are (for me anyways) two key times of the year for this - the July - August time and the December - January time. For me, these months are always the hardest to keep on top and enegised about designing. Aside from the seasonal effects, there will inevitably come a time when after going from design to design you reach saturation point and just need to take five.
As seen on
Diary of a website has been listed recently on a number of sites. Here is a quick linking back love for those that have mentioned me and I’ve seen. A big thanks to everyone.
Woofbarkwag
The Logical Binary team is about to gain a new fluffy employee with the introduction of a new puppy to our family. I have already seemed to gain a nice reputation for being the mad dog woman of web design and with the introduction of the new puppy I plan to make this official by starting woofbarkwag. Woofbarkwag is going to be a blog focusing on the life of a puppy, dog training, living, all things paw, tail and barking related.
Reason number 59823598732 why I wanted to join 9rules
If proof was ever needed of why anyone would want to be a member of 9rules, you’d not have to look anywhere else than the Phoenix launch dance celebration video. If only I didn’t dance like I should have a dog on a string and be selling the Big Issue I would join in. Maybe we should move for 9rules to give those of us more ‘dancily challenged’ some network dancing lessons.
