As I have discussed before with my preparations to go freelance in about a month now, the world has suddenly got a whole lot more busier. I had assumed I was about as busy as I could be before what with the basic prepartions, then me being me ended up taking on more stuff and as a result this CSS Reboot I am now part of launching 4 websites. I am both excited and rushed off my feet about this all. If there is a prize for how many reboots and infact websites you can do in a month, I may be getting my first web prize!
On a more personal note, this website itself is as I have said taking part in CSS Reboot. There is of course the new flavour, but there is also a lot more due to take place. For a while I have been considering whether to keep it on my own blog engine or move it onto wordpress or any other format. I have decided for now to stick with what I have, but with some serious modifications. Included in these modifications are better spamming control, better style switching and also a better commenting form. I have mentioned the new sections and features that will be available as part of the relaunch. My focus is now to get the database and everything nailed over the next week or so. Suddenly, I am very very glad April has 3 days holiday in the Uk!
On a side note, my Apple hell appears to be over with my new love of my life being a 17 inch Powerbook. I never realised before how useful a laptop of this size actually would be. I did not need the lap extension after all and think there will be no going back to small laptops full time. I think it is helped by the fact that even at 17 inches the powerbook still weights in much less than the Sony Vaio I performed assisted suicide on by accident.
Cool looking website, can I ask you what template you are running and how much it costs? I have been using cheap ones but can’t locate one that I actually like.
